100 Best Tips to Organize Every Room In Your Home

We are embarking on a brand new year, and although anytime is a great time to organize your home, the new year is an especially perfect time. There is just something that feels good about welcoming the New Year with a clean house free of clutter. For myself, November-December is a popular time to re-organize everything at home. Here are the best tips, I could find on how to organize every room in your home. Enjoy!

  1. Declutter Your Coffee Table: Keep only essential items, like a stylish tray for remotes or a vase of fresh flowers.

  2. Invest in Multifunctional Furniture: Ottomans with hidden storage or a coffee table with shelves can save space and add functionality. This one is perfect. 

  3. Create a Cozy Reading Nook: Arrange your favorite books on a stylish shelf or a floating bookcase, paired with a comfy chair and throw blanket.

  4. Rotate Seasonal Wardrobe: Keep your closet clutter-free by stashing away out-of-season clothes in under-bed storage containers.

  5. Upgrade Your Nightstand: Choose a nightstand with drawers to hide away chargers, books, and other bedtime essentials.

  6. Invest in Quality Hangers: Velvet or wooden hangers not only look chic but also prevent clothes from slipping off. This one is on my to-do list! And these ones, are on my shopping list.

  95.  Small Garbages: Add small garbage bins to nightstands or desk drawers. It is an easy way to keep garbage collected and out of view. I really love this one. 
  96. Cleaning Product Bin: Rather than having highly toxic cleaning products out in the open. Consider placing them in a clear bin (with a clickable top) and placing the bin in the basement, garage, or shed. 
  97. Jewelry Organizer: If you aren’t able to have a designated jewelry insert. Consider purchasing a jewelry box with various compartments and a glass top. I love these ones. 
  98. Use a catchall dish: Either on a console table for your keys, or on a nightstand for your jewelry. Or better yet, both! 
  99. Organized Water Bottles: Use horizontal shelves specially made for water bottles. This makes them easy to see and easy to grab quickly. 
  100. Pot Lids: Use a vertically wire divider to keep pot lids organized and separated.
